Your First Visit (40-60 minutes)

Your first visit will consist of a consultation to establish the nature of your problem.

Firstly, you will be asked all about how long you have had the problem, how it started and how it affects you.

After this, your spine will be thoroughly examined using common medical, orthopaedic and neurological tests. The movement of your joints and muscles is assessed.

It may be decided that you need X-rays, scans or possibly blood tests to further understand the nature of your problem. If this is the case we will arrange this during your initial consultation.

The information gathered at this consultation will be processed, then a diagnosis and treatment plan is put together in time for your follow-up visit which in most cases will be as soon as the following day.
